Of course, Jordan Brand doesn’t only have to offer something for the girls this weekend. The Air Jordan 1 KO High OG “Timeless Canvas” has to be one of our favorite sneaker releases so far this year with its clean vintage colorway. Check below to learn why as well as how and when to get them.
The Air Jordan 1 KO was initially released in 1986 as a canvas version of Michael Jordan’s first signature basketball shoe, the AJ1. The lighter canvas upper was not the only difference though. The AJ1 KO sits on a different tooling, the outsole of the classic Nike Vandal to be precise. Another more subtle difference is that on the Wings logo on the sides you only find the letters “A J K O” as opposed to “Air Jordan.” After retroing the AJ1 KO in 2 OG colorways of the Air Jordan 1, “Royal” and “Shadow”, this time around the canvas sneaker comes back in one of its very own OG CWs. The slightly off-white “Sail” upper meets vivid hits of “University Red” – it can’t get any more classy than this.
